New Kitchen design for this home renovation
The brief: From the outset, the couple envisioned a bold and exciting space with a mid-century modern design incorporating Japandi elements, a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian styles. They also desired a monochromatic colour scheme. Our team at Daniel George understood their brief clearly and strived to achieve their vision excellently.
The Kitchen Island is the star of the show
The cabinetry design is unique, featuring a slab-style painted beaded door that encompasses the base and wall units. The client choose our ‘Milan‘ Kitchen style. The bespoke kitchen island is the main attraction for guests with a unique marble worktop, storage and flush-fitted hob. Design with an overhang, fitting island chairs.
Appliances included:
- Miele compact steam oven with built-in sous vide (controlled via smartphone app)
- Built-in warming drawer
- Miele M-Touch series conventional oven with steam functions
- Bora Classic 2.0 hob with two induction hobs, one teppan hotplate, and two extractors (flushed finished into the worktop)
- Liebherr fully integrated fridge and fully integrated freezer with ice maker
- Quooker Flex Top tap with boiling water
- Sink from The 1810 company seamlessly integrated into the worktop
- Insinkerator waste disposal
- Miele M-Touch coffee center in the pantry for freshly ground bean-to-cup coffee.
We added LED lighting around the sink area to create an aesthetically calming effect while highlighting the sink as a prominent feature. The main wall hosts tall cabinetry along with a sink placed between tall units.
